24st, 25nd June 2017 Solar observers meeting at Serbannes (Allier - France).

Once again, the ‘’Rencontres des Observateurs Solaires’’, R.O.S, of Serbannes gave you the unique opportunity to test, compare or simply be informed about the solar equipment available on the today’s market.
As in 2012, some of the well-known astronomical suppliers were in Serbannes.
Brand new French productions were presented as the H.A.T of Airylab, or the Perl Solar Mak of Medas, but also the Quark of Daystar and the astonishing productions from the German Beloptik.
The R.O.S is resolutely establishing it’s self as a European astronomical event.
Several homemade instruments were also present, bringing with them a variety of innovative solutions for the amateur telescope maker.
Larges diameters up to 14 inches were also on site!
The ‘’discovery workshop’’ attracted the curiosity of the youngest and beginners.
In welcome, on Friday evening, the R.O.S offered a free meal to about twenty participants.
A very convivial moment particularly appreciated by those who had to travel a long journey toward Serbannes.
A special thanks to the mayor of Serbannes who, notably, offered a free campsite to participants.
With his help, the R.O.S team is looking forward to see you again for the 2017 edition.
